Course Details and Enrollment

Requirements:


  • Students must be 14 & 9 months to 17 (must be in 8th grade and up)
  • Must have a valid Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP Card) from the Office of Motor Vehicles.
  • Students can not be enrolled or attend class without the TIP Card.
  • Primary Parent/Legal Guardian must attend a Parent Meeting. Students do not attend the Parent Meeting.


Bring the following documents to the Parent Meeting:


  • Student's TIP Card. What is a TIP Card? Click here
  • Student Birth Certificate (do not accept photocopy)
  • Custody documents if any have been filed
  • Primary parent/legal guardian's ID
  • Address must match what is on the student's TIP Card.

O.M.V. Knowledge Test is now done on a tablet - Students may bring AUX plug-in headphones to have the test read to them on the day of the test. (wireless headphones are not allowed)

Driver's Education Grant Opportunity

The Hagerty Drivers Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, preserving, and celebrating automotive heritage at its highest levels.


Hagerty Drivers Foundation provides grants up to $500 to young drivers between the ages of 14 and 18- years-old who plan to complete their Drivers Education within 90 days of their application.


In order to qualify for this grant, applicants are required to create a 1-minute video OR provide a 300- word essay about why they are excited to drive. The application will be marked incomplete if neither are submitted.
